My partner and I have set up this website to help people with ferrets or thinking about getting a ferret, also to help friends to keep up to-date with our ferrets.
My name is Samantha and my partner Bill. We have been keeping ferrets for a number of years now. We rescue many ferrets from and around our area in Lancashire and Yorkshire. We go fundraising from Blackpool area all the way to Bradford area.
Our aim of this site is to give advice on how to look after your ferret properly and how to read their body language on how they are feeling etc
We hope that this site helps you all out and show what fun ferrets can be.
A female ferret is called a "Jill" and a male is called "Hob"
the babies are called "Kits"
Please be aware if you ferret losses a lot of weight or does not seem it's self please go to vets straight away, as it could be a very bad virus. Thank you
We are now on Facebook as well for more up to date running of the rescue centre.
Just type in Colne Ferret Rescue.
Thanks
Sam & Bill
